Michael and I don't have kids yet. We work and travel a lot. French Fry and Gumby are our everything when we get home - they are the sweetest puppies! Andrea Sergio's Creature Comforts Pet Sitting has worked with our family for over four years. Her company is the fourth I have employed, and will be the last. Why? Because Andrea and her employees are trustworthy, responsible and flexible as well as knowledgeable about pet care. When ever I communicate with Creature Comforts, I feel I have been heard and that the needs of my pets and my family's home will be in solid hands while I am away. I also know that if there's ever an emergency, Andrea will manage the situation as I would myself. As an example, one of my cats was diagnosed with kidney disease. I was out of town for two weeks while Andrea cared for my cats. She was able to hydrate my cat with subcutaneous fluids as prescribed by the vet. I received a call from Andrea who was concerned that my cat was not eating normally. At that time, Andrea made a very constructive suggestion on how to proceed in efforts to motivate my cat to eat again. We agreed that she would try her proposed course of action and if it failed, she would bring my cat to the vet. Andrea updated me with a phone call for several days on my cat's progress until we both felt she was out of the woods in terms of her food intake.
Andrea's employees follow suit in animal care. I am totally confident that when I go away, my pets will receive the quality care that my family and I provide when we are home. And the icing on the cake is the wonderful care they take to keep my home secure while we are gone. Andrea and her staff have been taking care of my dogs for the past four years. Our chocolate Lab, soon to be 11 and our 2 year old Yorkshire Terrier have benefited from their services. Andrea and her staff are true professionals. I have utilized both daily care and their house sitting services when we are away. We are able to go away and not worry about anything at home. I will never forget when I received a call at 11:30 PM from Andrea the night we returned from vacation. I forgot to call her when we got home - which she insists you do - She was concerned that our plane had been delayed and that she was on her way over to take care of the dogs as the house sitter had left at 5:00PM and we were due home at 6:30. I was amazed at her dedication. However, I should not have been surprised. It was just one of the many examples of her committment to her charges.
Creature Comforts' success comes from a culture of caring that starts with its owner. If I needed further verification of my high regards for Creature Comforts I only have to look at two tails wagging, ears alert, a stuffed toy grabbed by both dogs to present to Lisa as she arrives to take them on their afternnon journey, and it is a journey. After Lisa lovingly greets both dogs equally - which is very important as they each vie for her attention. She asks them how their day has been and asks them if they would like to go for a walk-in all kinds of weather. Upon getting their agreement they leave and when they return they are given fresh water and a treat but more important to them are the belly rubs.
Every day I receive a note from Lisa about their journey. Every day there is something new on the note, "We ran into Reggie today, a bichon frise whom Piccola and Seamus enjoyed meeting" or "Seamus did not want to go out in the rain today. However, once he began he seemed to enjoy himself". Friends who have pet care arrangements have told me that they receive a pre-printed slip with boxes checked off as to hygiene and are signed by a different person each day-some of whom they had never met. I have had 4 different caretakers-who were all wonderful. Whenever there was a change in staff, Andrea always called and personally came with the individual and introduced me, the dogs, and my home to them.
In closing, I want to thank Andrea and all her staff for the excellent care they provide for my two friends and I would highly recommend their services.

When we adopted Lily, our beagle mix at nine weeks old 5 years ago, we knew we needed help in housebreaking her and harnessing the energy of a little puppy. We interviewed several pet sitters and were extremely impressed with the professionalism and sensitivity of Andrea Sergio and her team. Although we thought we would no longer need to have our dogs walked once Lily matured, we have been using Andrea's team now weekly for the past 5 years and our dogs now think Creature Comforts are part of their family. Andrea's dog walkers are very skilled in dog handling and behavior as evidenced by their ability to walk our three very active canines and show our dogs the same level of care and affection we do ourselves. During the 5 years we have been using Creature Comforts our oldest dog passed away and we later introduced a new puppy to the mix. Andrea's team was compassionate in our loss and quickly learned the personality of our new beagle and the changed dynamic among the 3 of them. We know we can trust and rely on Creature Comforts on a routine basis as well as when the unexpected occurs. I would highly recommend Andrea and her team to anyone looking for best in class care for their pets.

Andrea and her team began to care for our girls, Syd and Riley, many years ago. We always have been delighted with the kind and dependable visits, but two months ago when Syd became ill, Andrea, Lisa, and Theresa supported Syd, Riley and us in every way we asked - and then some. When Syd died, they shared our grief and comforted us. During this difficult transition, while Riley is spending her old age without her littermate of 14 years and losing her sight and hearing, we can leave her knowing that she will be visited by her friends.
